These are the most anoying thing I ever saw on the road. I think it's
even worse then does stupid neon you put under the car (they were very
popular here in the summer of 96, but then winter came. WHAAAAA HA HA. I
would of like to see the faces of those idiots when they saw there dear
ligths all broken). Anyway, just a reminder to all residents of Canada
that those colored ligths are illegal here, at least for the moment. I
hope it stays like that, I'm always under the impression that I'm being
abducted by a UFO.

Some modern cars seem to have these blue halogen lights as standard (at
least in Britain). They give you a heart attack at times. Picture the
scene, I am tonking along at %$mph when one of these cars comes over
the hill behined me, all I see is a flash of blue light. A quick glance
at the speedo says its licence frying time, then a Saab comes past with
two old ladies in it. Que loss of at least one of my lives (down to my
last two now.) :-)

The lights you see in the Mercs, Audis, etc ARE NOT blue halogens.  They are high
voltage arc discharge lamps.  Quite different.  The blue halogen lamps this bozo
is trying to sell are ILLEGAL in the US and Canada, at least, if not Europe.

The light output is actually less, the glare increases and the distinctive
coloring makes you an easy target for the local law enforcement officials.

I think not!

Be patient; it takes quite a while for their oil sumps to dig the
slot.

Nothing wrong with having your frame an inch off the ground as long as you
have some means of lifting it up to a driveable hieght. By means of airbags
or hydros, I prefere bags though.. I mean there is alot if people that put
down on people driving a lowered truck or car. Now how many of them people
put down the people in their 30's or 40's car/truck with the front of the
frame is essentially the same 1 to 2 inches off the ground.

The only thing I do aggre with you is the fact of the wheels sticking out
the wells. Personally I don't prefere to fix my suspension almost yearly. I
like the look of tires and rims inside the body of the car makes things
look just plain nice.. I myself own a lowered Ranger (3 front/4 rear) and
mt rims will never stick out...

I should have pointed out that a swift bit of engine braking bought the
speed back down to sane levels, the two old girls were doing about 80
though. :-)

I thought these lights cost about $1000 aftermarket and use a computer
controlled power supply and xenon bulbs.  They are something like a 2000
dollar option on some luxury cars, I think.  The ones for under a hundred
bucks are so stupid.  They are tinted with a blue tint and have to be a
higher wattage to be as bright as non tinted lights.  The higher wattage is
illegal in most states.  I see the cheap ones all the time where I live;
they look blue from straight on, but change to white at high angles of
incidence.  Personally, I like the blue neon underbody kit I bought for my
car.  It has more use, if any, than cheesy imitation HID(High Intensity
Discharge) headlights.
Oh, I think the HID lights emit a little UV light, which causes objects
to fluoresce a little, making it easier for a driver to see objects at
night.  I would like to learn a little about these lights.

Blue neon underbody kit?  Do you have a neon license plate holder, too?

Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, I'm trying to understand the logic of getting a
neon underbody done.  It's gotta be expensive, and I dont' see a practical
purpose to it.
