I have tried two different disks. Cannot detect my 3Dfx
card, and installing 3D version is VERY slow.
Large install approx. 40 min !!! Yes, something is wrong...
I have no problems with other games.
Anyboby with the same experiences ?

For the thousandth time, you need to have Glide.dll (yes Glide!) and
ss1init.dll in your system folder for Ubi games to install!
When will this question go away? Presumably when Ubi include these files
with their installation.

I'm not sure, but I think Iain is more mad at Ubi than the original post.

You may forget, some of us are installing our first Ubisoft game, and
haven't followed the threads on POD or other Ubisoft aplications. The
files you mentioned were indeed the fix I needed as well, and the
Ubisoft tech was nice enough to email them to me within minutes.
