Can't get F1Rs working - please help.

Can anyone help.
I've got a Graphics Blaster Exxtreme with 4mb of onboard ram (Permedia2
chip).
I know it's not as ideal as a 3dfx card, but I believe the game should run
OK.
When I run the game, it loads in to the menus OK, and I can access every
screen, right up to the point where I click on GO, to start driving. The
circuit begins to load in, up to about a third of the green bar, and then I
get a blank screen, and have to ctrl-alt-del to Windows.
I have an AMD K6-233, 32mb edo.
Anyone had the same trouble?

Many thanks,
Keith Windsor

Keith,

I had exactly the same problem with a Cirrus GD5464 3D chip based graphics
card, on a K6-233 / Shuttle 569 combination. Upgrading to a Diamond Viper 330
PCI fixed my problems, and the video card is much faster as well. My opinion is
that there is a bug somewhere, could be the video card BIOS, the Windows
drivers, the D3D drivers or even F1RS itself. Make sure you have the newest
versions of all these.

Good luck,
Another Keith.
