3d sound support in future Papy sims?

I was tooling around Monza in a BRM (yup, still ;) during a short race
and was noting how much better a racing sim could be if it supported
EAX and/or A3d.  Situational awareness, limited as it is in computer
sims, sure would be improved if the sound from a car gaining on me
would actually be played from the relative position of the car in a
4-speaker setup.  Driver ability would improve markedly as drivers
could rely more upon the sound of the car as it's position changed
relative to yours.

Any discussion of this for N3?  I would very much like to see these
new technologies adopted by Papy.
