I disagree. As far I can see, they do favor certain games above
others, that's true. But they're not _against_ games.

High Gear is a great resource to check the latest news. Their forums
however, contain too much noise for my taste.

They just asked about the opinion of their readers. I don't see this
as an attack.  Chances are that a lot of people didn't know that RAS
excisted, and they're checking it out right now.

  I for one ABHOR web based forums.  I have a cable modem and they
STILL take forever to go from message to message.  I dabble in the
gtinsider one for scgt and thats about it...gimme a good informed
newsgroup anyday.  If it has a bias, I assume I am smart enough to
figure that out on my own and balance my reading accordingly.
(this should not be inferred that I am opposed to NVIDIA users asking
  Questions about how to make GPL run tho...)  :>

Ok, maybe I mis-interpreted it then.  Or have a different sense of
humor.  I saw it as a semi-serious kind of tongue-in-cheek poll myself.
There were definite graduations of opinion to register that could be
measured, yet presented in a kind of light-hearted manner.  Am I really
way off base here?<g>
