BPR Mod - Setups and Clutch Questions

BPR Mod - Setups and Clutch Questions

Wow, another impressive effort!

Two quick questions: 1) are the default set-ups developed?  Are there
downloadable set-ups for each car that work well?

2) For those of without clutches who have to use "Amateur" mode in GTR2002,
what is the equivalent setting here?  Either there is a huge clutch bite on
downshift, or the brake balance is shifted so far that the car pirouettes
from that :)

Looks like lots of fun.

Thanks,

Marc

I don't know the reasoning or the cure, but the BPR mod was designed
with this clutch feel to it.  I can state humbly for the record that I have
maybe only once or twice managed to downshift into 2nd gear without
spinning.  You have to blip the throttle(quick stab on the gas pedal)
either just as you shift or slightly before.  I can get down through the
higher gears, but when tight turns require slow speeds...I'm doomed.
Unfortunately, I don't have the time for this single mod to get the
rythym figured out.  I appreciate their effort, it, so far, is an above
average piece of work, but DANG is it difficult to downshift...

If you open the specific vehicle .hdv file that you are driving with a text
editor and go down to the line that reads

SemiAutomatic=0

change the value to 1 and the equivalent "Amateur" mode from GTR2002 is
enabled.

that totally takes away from the fun BPR offers.
Just blip on downshift and you'll be fine
