How to drive Paul Richard-circuit in BPR-Mod ??

by Thorsten Senf » Thu, 29 May 2003 21:31:39

Hi !!

I just installed the BPR Endurance Mod for F1 2002. I can find a
PaulRichard-folder in the "Tracks"-directory, but the track is not available
in the game.

Does anyone have an idea on that ??

Thanks in advance,

Thorsten

take a look in the track folder.  Each track 'should' have a
paulricard.mas, a paulricard.scn, a paulricardmap.mas and several bmps.
One of the advantages of the current track system is you can use the .scn
file to tell the mod where to look for the mas files.  So if you already
have paul ricard installed in the F1 folder or the GTR folder you can use
the first few lines of the .scn file to point out the proper track folder.
My BPR folder of Paul Ricard has 11 items.  Did you have the track
installed before you installed BPR?   I think the installer searches for
the track and copies the files...I don't think the track was included in
the mod download.
Here's the file list

PaulRicard.aiw
PaulRicard.cam
PaulRicard.cin
PaulRicard.mas
PaulRicard.scn
PaulRicardmap.mas
PaulRicardTrack.bmp <= this is the icon you see on the track selection
screen.

How to drive Paul Richard-circuit in BPR-Mod ??

Hi Dave !!

There are some files missing in my PaulRichard-Directory. As haven't
installed the track explicitly before, this one must have been installed
with the Mod I think.
Can you please give me a link where to download the Track ??

Thanks in advance,

Thorsten

As I recall, the download instructions recommend you download Paul
Ricard as well... that is, it's not included in the main download.
You should be able to download it from where you downloaded the mod.

Here are two sites everyone interested in a mod for F1 2k2 should have
bookmarked.  I have given these two sites out dozens of times and I think
you can find jussssst about anything going on by using these two websites.
Everyone who drops my the F1 2002 Links page and F1 2002 HQ should
leave a quick note of thanks to the hosts...they do a great job and provide
a valuable service.
I also just noticed that the Ferrari 360 Challenge addon for GTR has
been released...go get'em...and prepare to visit the kitty litter often.

(Paul Ricard should have a link from either of these sites..sorry that's
why I started all the blather above in the first place! <vbg> )
