Boat's win should not stand....its not arie or aj's fault that the idiots
for the IRL ***ed up the scoring.  They both should be fined and
suspended for what they did.

I beg to differ. While Arie had in fact completed more laps, this was
not known to the official. As of that moment, while Arie was the
rightful winner, Boat and AJ belonged in victory lane, for they were the
car that was first shown the checkered flag.

The IRL did the right thing by correcting the result later once all the
facts were known (and double-checked I'm sure)...

> Boat's win should not stand...

You could make a (not very strong) case that Boat's win should stand,
since the timing and scoring information presented to his team, upon
which race decisions were based was incorrect. I don't agree with that
argument, but I do assign it some weight; I *HATE* every single decision
that changes a race result that happens off the race-track for that very
reason. In this case, the IRL did the right thing (of course, after
first having done the *very* wrong thing of screwing up the scoring...)

What exactly did Arie did that causes you to want to suspend him? And
it's not like AJ beat the hell out of Arie, he gave him a little slap
upside the head, which is about exactly what he needed to shut the hell
up and get out of victory lane... AJ needs a token fine; besides what
does it mean exactly to "suspend" a car owner? I guess you could
prohibit him from attending the race, but banning his cars seems extreme
(not to mention easily defeatable, since those cars could be "sold" to
work around the ban...)

HE may have been the winner, but he was not DECLARED the winner ar that
time.

Billy Boat is definitely in the wrong sport.
He should be hustling a hydroplane around a watery course somewhere!

Something about beating a Texan in Texas. Texans don't like their parades

Hmm..for that new IRL sim there should be illegal scoring that sets 5
random drivers to lap speeds of 0.3421 MPH.  Also, why not be able to go
into victory lane, and get punched by A.J.?  Or the opposite.  Use a
joystick to fight!!!  And then, just to make sure Tony Stewart never wins
the AI causes him to crash for no reason on the final lap.
