I wonder if the new IRL game will have a "Punch Lyundyke" option.
All I have to say about the incident is, never, ever, ever jump up in
A.J. Foyt's face and tell him he has no business in Victory Lane.  I
would've punched Lyundyke too.
'Course,  that's just my opinion.  I could be wrong.

A.J. Foyt?  Calm?
Have you ever watched the man race before?  What you saw was  typical
A.J. Foyt.  And no, Arie had no right doing it the way he did.  The
way he should have done it was to go to the IRL officials, and lodge a
protest.  He instead marched into victory lane and mouthed off to
Foyt.  Arie was out of line, and he did the one thing EVERYBODY
connected with racing knows not to do, he pissed off one of the
biggest powder kegs in the sport.
I'm not saying what A.J. did was completly right, but I will say I
would have knocked the hell out of Luyendike myself.

'Nuff said.

Yeh and who won the race. This shows the IRL isn't Half - assed. They are
all ass.  Amateur hour can't stand being dominated by a professional.

Arie should have waited before he brought up this problem....he should
not have walked up to the winners circle like he did and interrupt the
ceremony....That was not the proper way to handle that problem.....Arie
is a cry baby(whiner) anyway, and anybody who is involved in racing
knows it......Not many people like Arie.....and you can also put Paul
Tracey in the same boat also.

About time somebody knocked the arrogant Lyundyke on his you know what.
Guess he mouthed off to the wrong guy this time. As far as I'm concerned
the checker was displayed to Boat first and his win should stand.

AJ shouldn't have done that but Arie had NO RIGHT to go into victory
circle and protest.  He deserved what he got for going in there when all
that he and his team had to do was file a formal protest.

Imagine that you have driven an unbelievable race...coming up from
11th to pass everyone and WIN the race only to see someone else
getting all the attention and accolades and interviews.  How many of
us could stay calm in the face of that kind of injustice.  He
shouldn't have done what he did but I can't imagine being able to
restrain myself in that situation.

What A.J. did was even more inexcusable.  He should have called the
security guys over or simply ignored him.

The bottom line is Arie drove a brilliant race and WON!  He DESERVED
much better than being ***-slapped from behind and thrown to the
ground.

NO RIGHT!!!   He was the true winner of the damn race.  If you won and
someone else was celebrating in victory lane, wouldn't you be pissed and
say something?

AJ needs a good old fashioned Texas ass Whoopin and a 62 year old man
could very easily get that. Arie was a good guy. I would have stomped his
Fat Ass.

Yeah I woulda gone straight into Victory Lane but that don't make it
right.  Winners Circle is for the winner and since Arie was not the
winner at that time he should not have gone.

He WAS the winner at that time!!  Billy Boat and A.J. should not have
been there.
