TSW Sport Modification

Has anyone here ever installed the optional shift button kit on a TSW
Sport Wheel?  I'm interested in adding the buttons to enable the look
left/right feature in GPL.  However, everything I've read indicates that
soldering is involved.

Exactly what gets soldered?  If it's the buttons to the wheel, can't
they just be taped on with duct tape or something?

I'm not too handy (obviously) and don't wnat to solder if it's not
necessary.

Thanks!

most likely its the desoldering of the wires from the normal shifter and
then resoldering em to the buttons for the "paddles". If you need some tips
on how to solder email me and I'll give you a couple. Good Luck

This is incorrect, the button kit comes with full instructions and there
is no need to disable the shifter or anything else.

Then, exactly what needs soldering?

The only thing needing soldering is the wires to the back of the buttons
themselves, all else is direct plugging in.
