slow, but for DOS and QEMM files, who cares?
BTW, GPL is very playable at 512 or 640--must be the Screaming 3D v1000...

If you aren't planning on upgrading for awhile, find yourself an used
Rendtion card (Screamin' 3D, or Intergraph's Intense 100, or -- memory
fades, what's the other one?). You should be able to find one for about
50 bucks. But before you buy the card make sure you can find the
"repackaged" ICR2 -- CART Racing by Sierra Sports/Papyrus. This has the
special edition to run accelerated with the Rendtion cards.
Not only will you think you just upgraded to a faster machine, a whole
new dimension to ICR2 will be opened.
Trust me, you won't regret it!

So what everybody has been saying is, they don't make 1 card with rendition and
3dfx. I have to buy 2 cards to cover both ends? any it's reccomended that I buy
a used card for the meantime, and but CART racing for $20 cause that comes with
the rendition. But will all the add-on tracks work with CART, cause most of
them say for ICR2 only.

Well, when I recommended a Rendition card, that was because you only
seem to want to run ICR2 and get some graphics and speed better than
VGA. Most of the demanding games that would require a Voodoo card may
be too demanding for your current system. So if you want to get more
life out of ICR2 (and it will be awhile before we see ICR3 -- or
whatever it will be called).
There are some work arounds for not having to buy the repackaged CART
(for which all ICR2 stuff will work). Get the Cyrix patch (I believe)
at Sierra, find someone to send you the spd3d.uc file and you will have
faster graphics at a higher resolution. There are some Rendition
enhanced track patches available, that you can add for "prettier"
graphics.
