Do you have the latest DX5 beta driver from I-Force? (12/16/97) It supports
external
rudder/throttle and all 10 buttons on the Force FX?

You can get it at:

Hi,

I'm using a CH Force FX and a WCS II but cannot get the throttle to
work. The force feedback works fine but as soon as i enable the throttle
the car grinds to a halt after the start and i cannot get it going
again.

Anyone know how to solve this ??

Cheers

Hi, I was until a few days ago using a WCS II with a TM J stick and even
rudder pedals as brakes. I had it set up as a 3axis 4 button in the control
panel of W95. be sure to check use throttle control in Cart control
configure box. also I went ahead and assigned/programmed the up arrow key
stroke into the WCSII using the Mark 2 software. Funny but the problem you
mentioned is the exact same thing that happened in CPR when I got this GP1
wheel and tried to use the paddle levers as gas and brake. It works fine
now that I followed the advice at the Apex site under old news archives
Nov.18th to 30th posted by a Robert Lortie. You might want to take a look
at it as it specifically mentions not assigning car functions to buttons
3,4 & 7,8 hope this helps as I know how frustrating it can be B^)
Aloha,Mike
