Info on the NROS is the "new" book, NASCAR Racing 2: The Champion's
Handbook" by Mark Walker. It's very similar to the first NASCAR Racing book
in that it gives a lot of set-up info, and info on each track.
It also gives the skill rating system for NROS. I guess it's very close to
Hawaii's skill system with some subtle changes. There's two modes: arcade
and sim, with arcade for "rookies" to on-line racing and the sim mode being
for more experienced racers.
I picked up this book at my local CompUSA for like $15 US.
Another thing: it gives URL's to sites like The US Pits, IWCC Cars, Chris
Frederick's Racing HQ, Mike Carver's site, Eric Busch's set-ups, Hoser's, and
a few others.
The thing that I did NOT like about was the cheesy explanation of the
PaintKit. Ya oughtta see the car they used to demonstrate the PaintKit...
