N2 Chassis Selection/NROS

Hi all,

Knowing that a lot of Nascar fans are fiercely loyal to their
auto manufacturers, I was wondering if most of you stick to the
same chassis in N2, or, do you jump from one to another to suit
the track?
And, does anyone know if the NROS will be require us to stay with
one chassis for the entire season?

Regards,
Greg

I always drive a Monte Carlo.  This was originally due to loyalty, but I
have
since tried other chassis and prefer the Monte Carlo at most tracks.  I
felt that
it was unrealistic to change chassis, so I stick with the Chevy even on
short
tracks where the Ford is supposed to be better.

Anyone that is not loyal to a chassis in Nascar Racing 2 or jumps
from one
chassis to another to suit a track should not be allowed to own the game

because that is cheating in my mind. What would happen if the real
drivers did
that.

I don't know if this is the same in N2 but in N1 here's what the chassis
differences was:

Chevy: A superspeedway car
Ford: Short track car
Pontiac: Okay on anything

What's the difference between Ford, Chevy, and Pontiac? If so, in what
way's?

And if there is does it actually make a difference in the game?

Thanks,
rad

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the Ford has the most front
downforce, the chevy has the most rear downforce and the pointiac is a
balance of the two.  Thus, the Ford tends to be the "loosest," the Chevy
"tightest" and the Pontiac basically neutral.

The difference is pretty minor though.  A good setup is more important
than the right body anytime.

I think that's right...

As a matter of fact I have never tried to run the other chassis in the
game!!! Maybe I should give it a shot!! and see if there really is a
difference
