I recently downloaded the demo of UBIsofts F1 simulator demo from
www.avault.com. When i extracted i found the readme's were in french. When
trying to run the demo i got an error "expected Vxd 1.2 , got 1.1" . When
i mailed UBIsoft they said i shouldnt run it and delete it. Anyone got
any ideas how i resolve the error coz im gaggin to see it run!

>The remedy is as follows :- Copy the file FXEMEMMAP.VXD from the FI
>Racing directory to your Windows System Directory. (you may want to back
>up the existing file beforehand) Hope you enjoy the Demo.

That's pretty impossible. You can't enjoy this "demo" because the car setup
is crap. You've got constant understeering, the other cars on the grid fly
past you as if you're standing still.

Then again, it's NOT a Demo to be used by the main public.

(unsnip)

Then which part of the public is allowed to use it?
This has me worried as I always assumed that I was part of the main
public, not realising that the public had disinct groups.
How do I find out which part of the public I belong to?  Will I need a
passport or identity card?

Please advise urgently.
