on what aspect do you people say this. I have not played either, but
have read nearly every review here on both games.
Everyone says f12000 looks better. Thats to be expected isnt it??
Its by EA Sports. EA Sports prides itself on the immense graphical
detail. Just look at the NBA Live series, and have a look at the
players faces, you cant tell the difference between them and real
life. But does this make it a complete game??
Spin offs on the warm up laps, pile ups in turn one every race, f12000
sounds like a completely bug flawed game, which also wouldnt surprise
me as it is ea sports. They are known to release less than full
games, meaning there are still elementary bugs in the games that they
havent bothered to fix. Maybe because they will make more money when
everyone rings up their helpline to complain.

One day, i may buy f1 2000 just because i love racing sims. GP3 im
gonna buy the morning it comes out here.
I dont care if the graphics arent as good as f1 2000, big deal,
graphics dont make a great game. The gameplay does. And i will bet
my life it would shit all over f1 2000 gameplay

Well Ea Sports are well known for there graphics. Trying to hide the
lack of substance their games have usually!!

lookin at that picture...f1 2000 graphics are definatly more

To make it look better than GP3 (in my eyes), it will need to achieve
*spectacular* improvement.

No, really: from the different opinions that I have read so far, I can
only conclude that it is mostly a matter of taste.

I thought F1 2000 looked "cleaner" in those set of pics. However
the comparision of F1 2000 and GP3 in that other thread made
F1 2000 certainly look worse. It doesn't excuse the fact that GP3
is GP2 ported to W98 with weather effects added. For all I know
they compared the worst spot in F1 2000.

Try comparing somewhere at hockenhiem...

Try getting the same GP3 picture without the rain
effects.

GP3 looks great in screen shots, but
for some reason, when it's actually running, it
looks almost exactly like GP2 to me, which is
not impressive at all.

Try getting a GP3 screen shot without the
weather effects, and the comaprison will
be a lot closer.

Regardless of how the screen shots look,
I think that F1 2000 still looks a lot
better in action than GP3 does.

I think from your posts that you have not driven
GP3 yet. I promise you that without the weather
effects, GP3 looks a lot like GP2, and F1 2000
is a lot better, generally speaking.

Yes GP3 looks great in screen shots, and the
weather effects look great, but I plan on
spending a small percentage on my time driving
in the rain.

You're right. I reserve my final judgement for friday. And probably
for after my upgrade as well :-)
