GPL track permission?

by David » Sun, 13 Feb 2000 04:00:00

A thought: is there a circuit owner, anywhere in the world, who
*would* give official permission for said circuit to be made into a
GPL (or any other sim, for that matter) track? Maybe there's even
someone reading this now who's got the relevant rights to somewhere
and would like to grant permission (OK, so it's a long shot).

Granted, international-standard circuits are probably out, but if the
owner of the rights to a club venue or a defunct track somewhere would
like some favourable free publicity, what better way to do it?

Personally, I'd love to see Castle Combe, but I can't see the BRSCC
(if it is them) allowing that one.
