But high scores with this car are never recorded.
I've checked and re-checked, installing another copy of the game, copying
high score files around, re-applying patches etc, but everything works fine
only until I install and drive my favourite car.
Any suggestion?

Yup, 4WD.
I was a bit disappointed though, as under the misc files is a link for a Pug
205 video (which is my next favourite car after the minivan). So hoping to
find a 205 to download, but no go.
There is an MG, but I can't handle RWD cars in RT. Should be easy after GPL
experience, but it isn't!
I am really hoping that RT is going to survive to be the dirt track GPL -
signs are good, so far.

There's that other little car.. the Fiat I think. I Find it to be the
hardest car to drive... It also loves getting in the air, but refuses to
land straight! verrrry fun!
I have screenshots of me winning the championship in all 11 regular cars..
like 700MB of .bmp's. It's such a nice looking game, and really rewarding
once you get it!
