F1RS problem

by Stefan Hoogendoor » Wed, 21 Jan 1998 04:00:00

Hello Speadfreaks,

I,ve got a question about F1RS that i recently purchased.

When i,m playing it, sometimes i encounter some sort of interference.
I don't know how to put this in english, but it looks like some sort of
hickups (??)
When this happens i see (and hear) de hardrive read or write with small
intervals.
(like every half of a second a short burst)
With the same interval i get the interference.
I find this very disturbing, but after some time it goes away and later
(after one lap or so) comes back again.
It's not really a BIG problem but i'd like to get it solved.
Anyone got any ideas ??????

my configuration:  P200MMX, Diamond monster3D+stealth video
                           32MB.
                           Win95 (OCR2)

(The game is brilliant btw)

Try turning off the Replay feature, otherwise the game writes to the hard
disk every few seconds causing a pause in the game. This should help.
