Subject:   NASCAR 3 Dedicated Server

Date:   Friday, September 17th, 8:18am

Hello All,

We are trying to setup an i2e2 dedicated NASCAR 3 server at one of our data
centers and could use your help. Through the game interface screen there is
no way to setup a dedicated server like you can in Quake. In order to run a
dedicated server we will need to work with Sierra to come up with a
solution. We are contacting Sierra to see what they can do for us and should
have an update shortly.

In the meantime does anyone know 1) if there is any work-around for a
dedicated server for the game 2) with the current game interface what are
the other options for game hosting. If the server is sitting in a data
center and does not have someone creating a game how can this be done
remotely or can it be done 3) what settings (track, AI or no AI, etc.) would
you want for some test races.

We have a fat server sitting in a data center with a 100mpbs connection so
we can host some large races but we need to know how you would like it setup
and what is possible with the game right out of the box. Please let us know
if you have some ideas.
