Loads of people. Instead of merely racing the clock, as
you do in rallying and other off-road events (such as the
famous Baja 1000), in stadium and short-course off-road
racing you have direct competition.
Think of it like Formula 1 but with dirt and jumps!
The best thing about the SODA sim, I think, will be the
track editor. I'm looking forward to it, hoping that my
old machine can run it (if they keep the graphics as simple
as the demo pictures of seen, rather than start putting in
loads of suspension members and things, maybe there's a
chance, particularly if one uses the track editor to remove
all unnecessary scenery if possible).
