If I start Nascar2 with the Renddma.bat , then I don't get to see the
opening video.  Is this just me?  I'm using a screamin 3d card.
Rest of the game runs great except for Martinsville.

Look at the different batch files (.BAT). RENDDMA.BAT doesn't call the
Intro player (which appears to be a sperate program) like the other
rendition batch file does. You could try copying that line into the
RENDDMA.BAT file.

The renddma.bat file doesn't call the player for some reason.
Try editing the batch file per the nasrend.bat version.

I didn't even know there was an opening video.  I ran RENDDMA the first
time and it worked great so that's all I've been running.

Try this. Make a new .bat file to start such as the following:
race.bat

smackply D:\intro.smk /U1 /N
nasrend -dma %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9

This adds the intro to the Renddman version.

Thanks for the info, but I actually thought that was a nice feature. (
Skipping the Intro )  Don't wanna watch the intro, wanna race!

This was a GOOD tip for us all.
Thanks
