hole in its driving model.
If you've got the cash, or fancy completing all Rally Licence stages
on gold, get a Escudo Pikes Peak Edition. Its a bit of a beast, and
can be upgraded to around 1800bhp, tops of about 430kph.
Take it to the test circuit, and edit the settings:
lower ground clearance and springs setup to lowest
set suspension bound to the highest
set suspension rebound to lowest
0 camber
+2 FF and -2 FR toe
turn off all leccy driving aids (VCD, etc)
put maximum downforce on rear, none on front
set gear ratios as wide as they'll go
now get on the circuit, turn around and start powering along. you'll
hit around 350 on the first long corner - keep the exit speed up and
then just tear along the long straight. when you hit about 400, the
nose begins to rise.. 450 and the car slides up to riding on its back
wheels, completely perpendicular to the road surface. and then the
speedo goes through the roof, and the car launches itself forward to
over 1400kph...!
bruuuum!!
although totally impractical for race conditions.
