anyone try running TOCA without the CD
so that you can reduce the horrid load times?
I read of fakecd utility that allows you
to run without each track being loaded from the CD.

I created a fake CD drive, copied the whole of the CD to it and installed
the game from the fake CD. Then I started the game and it STILL played the
damn music from the CD!! However, it loaded the tracks from the fake CD
drive. Surprisingly, though, load times were little changed. Maybe I have a
fast CD... :) ...or a ***HD
Paul Mooney
could you tell me HOW you created the Fake CD drive
and what HD are you using ?
if you remove the CDROM , does it still load the game normal ?
