K7 and GPL

I have just invested in a K7 600 with SB Live and DV 770 32MB Ultra, and
tried to load GPL. It wont give me an option for 3d, only stating that my
new set up will take place after restarting. Is there a point where i have
to save my selection.......or anything else I am missing.

Thanks in advance.

GPL is accelerated out ot the box for Glide and RRedline. That means you need
a rendition board or a voodoo board.

And there is a OpenGL patch enabling you to run the game with a OpenGL
compliant graphics board. I know that people are running it with TNT1&2
boards, but I am not sure if it is working as well as the two previously
mentioned.

The DV770 ultra isn't directly supported by GPL - either add in a Voodoo2 or
download some of the OpenGL patches on the net.

There are certyain driver neede for GPL they are the OPENGL drivers (still
BETA) and you can get them from www.thefastlane.com and maybe you need the
newest detonator drivers too. Get them from www.nVidia.com
good luck (chance there is only a poor 640*480 mode maximum for your card.
It's just that GPL is a 3dfx based sim.)
