CPR patch?

CPR patch?

Does anyone know exactly what problems will be addressed (CPR PATCH)?

My main gripe is that that the car really wanders (Brand new T1).

My second  gripe is that the frame rate is really slow (200
MMX,40megRam, ATI 3D PC-TO-TV).

CPR really has potential. But the way the car wanders on the straights
really drives me nuts.  It seems as if I'm driving on ice.
Am I  the only one experiencing the wandering problem?  Any full version
owners out their experiencing the same problems?
I've only played the Demo.

The Full version is the same.
This game is an arcade game. Think of it like that.
I would not recommemd buying it until MAJOR AI and bugs are fixed.
And if and when a Glide or rendition support comes out.
Do not hold your breath.

Yeah I get the wandering too. I was advised to turn polling off in the
advanced section of game controllers. I've got the full version and a T2

Hi Tony,

I've played both the demo and now the full version, I dont have the
problem. Maybe its something to do with steering lock or something in
the setup? Of course I use a TSW<g>!

Try disabling "Poll Interrupts" in Control Panel - Game Devices - Advanced.

The upcoming patch has a null zone slider to allow people to fine tune the
"dead" zone.

More news soon. Patch is looking good.

What about steering ratio. 11 is to little. 25 would be nice :)

Good news - maximum steering ratio has been increased in the garage also (18
I think) - I forgot to add
that detail in my update.

How about adding support for a fourth joystick axis.  My pedals
are hard-wired on separate axes and I'm not going to change it
for one game when every other game supports 4 separate axes.

Thanks,

Pat Dotson

Go to The APEX at http://cart.gamestats.com and read the FAQ section on how
to improve steering feel.

Thanks
John
