I have tried to run the 3Dfx patch on Nascar 2 50th Anniversary
Edition but it refuses to update.  The 3Dfx patch is looking for
NASCAR2.EXE and my version has NASCAR50.EXE.

Is there any way to get this patch to work with this version of the
game ?

I have tried to run the 3Dfx patch on Nascar 2 50th Anniversary
Edition but it refuses to update.  The 3Dfx patch is looking for
NASCAR2.EXE and my version has NASCAR50.EXE.

Is there any way to get this patch to work with this version of the
game ?

You have to RENAME NASCAR50.EXE to NASCAR2.EXE, run the patch, then RENAME the
file back to NASCAR50.EXE.

Just Rename Nascar50.exe to Nascar2.exe. Then install the patch. Rename back
to nascar50.exe if you want the bat files that came with Nascar 50th to
work. Thats all it takes. Works Great

Try to rename the exe. file to nascar2.exe.
