Is it true that the pedals die in these after a month or two of heavy use?
I've seen at least 3 reports in other forums.

Since I'm at work I can't check the link for myself but here goes

The MOMO has the same pedal design that was originally used in Formula Force
wheel/pedal set. While they may not be the best design they are not weak. I
have had a LWFF and a MOMO and never had a problem with the pedals. Not even
a broken spring.  Now if your talking about the MOMO Racing wheel I have now
idea on those.

Yeah, the original momo and the lwff have a pretty good reputation for
reliability but there's some very angry momo racing owners out there.
Apparently Logitech refuse to replace pots under waranty.

I've been using a returned(reconditioned) Momo since about a month
after they came out.  1000's of FIA laps,  GTR laps,  TPTCC laps etc etc.

But why was it returned in the first place? :-)
Some people think that reconditioned stuff is sturdier than new.  It's checked
out thoroughly  by a technician instead of being stamped out by an assembly
line.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually like when the users post great
deals on hardware and software online. I'm not into the dealers doing
that, but the users usually find the good stuff.

i thought that too, but I think recoditioned is a misnomer.  I beleive
the wheel was returned. period.  Probably because the centering problem
with the first release of the drivers.  I still to this day...crank the
wheel lock to lock everytime I hit the track.  Every session, every pit
exit...I make sure by traveling the full range before I get going that the
wheel is properly centered.

Here's a bunch of places that have them.  $64.00 is the lowest price
and it comes to $78.46 after shipping.  Note at the top of the page it
says force feedback, yet click on the item for $64 and the force
feedback is not there.
