SCGT-Missing .VRL files?

I had SCGT fully loaded with all updates and goodies but I suffered a
registry crash. After the crash the game would always say it had an error
loading a "random" .VRL file from the root SCGT directory. I finally did a
complete uninstall and re-installed on a different drive but everytime I go
to start a race or practice the game crashes with an error that says: Error
opening object file G:\Sports Car GT\G06BVA.VRL. The numbers&letters before
the .VRL always change. Then a second error that says Error Loading Scene
File will come up as well. Any help with an old topic like this would be
greatly appreciated.

Normally I would suggest you try Speedsims.com but it is down right now for
site update...should be back soon...High Gear also has an SCGT fourm, but it
seems to be down today also...give them a try later....

If it's any help this is a cube error everytime it happens. I remember
seeing a lot of posts about cube errors back when SCGT was a newer game. I
can't find anything about this topic now though when I do web searches. I'd
love to get this game going again since I think it's still one of the
funnest and most realistic sims out there despite its age.

  The cube error thing was tied to the 1024 resollution only at certain
tracks I thought.  There should be some fixes for that...but it's been way
to long to dig them outta my head.  Keep trying speedsims...hopefully
they'll be back up soon.
