Nascar 4 rev limiter

Hey,  does anybody know if it's possible to disable, or change the rpm level
at which the rev limiter kicks in in Nascar 4?

While there's a good reason it's there in the first place and stuff, i'd
still like to push it past 7000 rpm at Daytona..

thanks

Open the track.ini file associated with Taladega, and change this line
"chassis_type = 1    ;super speedway" to"
chassis_type = 2    ;super speedway"

Doesn't that remove the plate?  I don't think that's the same.

     I thought that it was TRACK type which removed the plate.
Chassis type allows you to dial down the spoiler angle to 45
(thus cutting down on drag and increasing accel and top speed).
In either event setting both to "2" will do the trick.
