Anybody made one yet? My artistic skills aren't really up to it, so I've
just edited the drivers2.txt file so far, and pretended that the Jordans
are yellow :)

Here's hoping I wont have to wait too long...

Julian,
The *NEW* 1996 Formula One Indycar 2 Carset should be uploaded to The
Pits by Friday.

I've just taken a little longer than usual due to having no AI info at
all, but I have modelled it around the Melbourne GP.

Hope you like it.

Cheers

Steve

well since were on the subject of a f196 indycar 2 car set, can I just
ask that the drivers specs are a little less difficult since the f195 car
set was way too hard at 85pc and impossible at 100pc.  They were just too
fast and aggressive.

I have made a F196 drvers2.txt file which has them drive at the same
speed as the original CARS 95 carset that came with the game. The top
drivers are a little quicker (Hill, Schumie, Alesi), and the worst a
little slower (Montermini etc). With this I can usually qualify in the
top 6.

I can email it to you if you like

ARGHHHH!

OOOOOOPS!

Sorry, my apologies,

In fact what happened is this.
I modelled the AI of the cars to lap Sears Point in 1:15 second laps
at 100%. This then translates to 1:03 laps at Laguna - Major*** -
up. I can run them at 96% and qualify on the front row, but I admit
100% would take a major 'Senna' Lap (or Hill in Brazil).

I am working on a new 1996 F1 set with new Jordan's, Footworks',
Forti's and Ligier's - this will also have a more 'user-friendly' AI.

You should be able to get it from The Pits by the end of the month.

Sorry again

Steve
