will be in ZIP format.

I see you've linked these to Jan Kohl's The Pits mirror site.  Jan has
told me he's going to dump most if not all of the carsets (while keeping
the utilities and such only), so I wouldn't count on them being there
much longer - I'm kind of surprised he bothered to upload any of the '96
ones to begin with.

Also, these are in .exe format, not the .zip ones the original poster was
asking for.  

The "CART96" set there is the one I've been complaining about - the one
which pirates CART95 (with the read.me file claiming not to know who did
the original set) and includes Buzz Calkins instead of Eliseo Salazar,
even though Buzz hasn't even so much as suggested he'll do any
CART/IndyCar races.

The genuine update to CART95, and subsequent updates to follow throughout
the season, are always found here before anywhere else:
