GPL Throttle Observations

I'm using a LWFF wheel and peddles, and when I recalibrated the
throttle peddle a little short (100-690 instead of 0-690)my lap
times dropped a full second! I can understand that I'm reaching
full throttle sooner, but it seems full throttle is now more
"wide open" than before.  How is that possible?  Can your car
speed really be dependent on how you calibrate and what kind of
peddles you use?
Also, I'm lapping at Mosport in the 1:24s in the Eag but
can't seem to go any faster to catch Jim Clark's 1:22.  I'm
running on the edge, so I must be picking the wrong line
somewhere.  Any advice from those quicker than I?
Thanks,
Drew

If your pot (potentiometer) is dirty, it might have you on and off the
throttle just a little bit, slowing you down.  Short calibrating it could
help it stay floored better.

Only advice I can offer for Mosport is to turn-in extremely early for most
of the corners, and download some of the hotlappers setups at
www.parc-ferme.de.

Not sure exactly what your saying. You don't come fully off the pedal
or you don't go to full throttle when calibrating ? I found, with the
Lotus anyway, that I went faster when I didn't use full throttle,
particularly in the first three gears. I can only assume it's because I
wasn't spinning my wheels so much, but it's hard for me to sense when
that's happening.
