I think there is a woman driving in CTS this year. There was also a woman
that drove a Busch car a few years ago, forget her name, but her husband was
also driving at the time.

Why?! Is it not enough for you chicks that you get to hang out at the track,
wearing nothing more than flimsy bathing outfits? Jeez...

Tina Gordon is the lady driving in CTS.

I was watching this black guy racing motocross last year, I've forgotten his
name(Stewart?), but he was superb. Just blew everybody else off the track.
Then he was injured for quite some time and lost the chance of winning the
championship outright, but when he returned to racing he carried on where he
left off. Winning, winning and winning some more ! I don't know what's
happened to him as AMA motocross hasn't been on the T.V. here for some time.
He was on another level to all the other riders out there.
He must have impressed the right people from a very early age. I think he's
still only a ***ager.
Problem always is, interest and dedication, then ability. If you have the
1st 2 the second can be usually "trained." but too many dont give a sh*t
beyond "oh that's be neat" (just like me)... I wanted to be a race driver,
but never had the true sense of the word "interest", let alone dedication...
My friends have gone off to race dirt and I admire thier ability to spend
the hours it takes getting evertying together... So as you can see,
Interest & dedication just doesnt mean "wish I could..." because if that was
all it takes I would have been as famous as Petty or DE Sr... LOL
SO FYI, just like it has been posted before, dont get on here whinin that
there ain't no Women or Blacks in racing, it aint societies falt, as much as
it is just as hard for me to become a racer as it will be for the next
"person". Even though, er well, I keep hoping I could win the 300 million
in a lottery, I guarantee you I would blow 80% of it trying to field a car,
in something, like ASA or something... Heck might jut jump straight to CUP
since I always "hear/read" on boards & stuff, how JR or anyone can "Buy"
race wins/championships... ROFLMAO.

Dang, that's been said already. :)

There were three in the race at Mansfield yesterday.
Patty Moise, married to Elton Sawyer. She was very competitve in IMSA's
American Challenge in the mid-late '80's. I believe she won either a pole
or race at one of Road Atlanta's BGN races around that same time.
