Hi group,

   My name is Dave, and i'm a race sim ***.

 I'm going thru severe withdrawl and depression, DT's must be on the way. My
17" monitor died last Sunday and I was forced to put a borrowed, shrinking, 14"
(12"by now) plain VGA monitor on my system. NO SIMS it's too painful to
describe. All I can do is sit here and read about all the fun everyone is
having. It's still two more days before I can get to the show and get a proper
replacement, I'm not sure if I can make it till then, I need emotional support
from my group to help me thru this.
    PLEASE, tell me it will be okay.....   PLEASE
seven whole days without GPL, N2, ICR2, or SODA  :-(

I feel for ya' man. I recently spent a week in Yosemite with no computer at
all! You'll make it dude, and you'll be a better racer for it!

Got any videotapes stockpiled?  The US500 is good; it'll give ya a good 4? or 5
hr. fix.

I know how you feel--I just got a new laptop at work; 233mhz, 64mb ram 14.1"
screen.  I thought,'IndyCar is gonna be SO COOL on this', ran right home and
loaded it up, know what? DOS graphical apps are limited to 640x480 SCREEN
pixels!  There's a 2?" black border around the whole screen!  And I can't do a
damn thing about it.

Hello Dave, I can sympathize with you. my 19" inch monitor went crazy on me
a few months ago. I'm now stuck with a 13.5" until I can afford to have the
other one repaired.
