I liked Need for Speed also and for a time I too thought that the sequel
sucked.... BUT.... This was before I heard about the secret code that allow
you to use ANY of the cars in the game. You want fun on the PSX put these
codes in.
POWRUP - Pioneer engines
SEMIME - Semi truck BUGME - VW Bug
BMRME - BMW YJME - Jeep YJ
TREXME - T-rex BUSME - School Bus
MAZME - Madza Miata BNZME - Mercedes Benz
replace the "ME" for "U" to allow the 2nd player to use these codes.
There are more but these are some of my favs. For real fun put in the powerup
code and semime. It gives you a semmi that'll do 200+ m.p.h. You no longer
flip (at least not as much) when you hit someone, you knockem out of you way.
GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>So what that it doesn't have rally tracks... and the super car is called
>the ford indigo... You couldn't get rally tracks without a code so what
>does that matter for someone who doesn't know the code... They have never
>played it, so how do they miss it? However though, I still like rage
>racer better... but only because of my steering wheel.
