creator of Grand Prix Legends, NASCAR Racing 4, etc. They talk about the
development of NASCAR Racing 4, physics in racing sims, Grand Prix Legends
and...oh...race accidents. Always interesting...Anyway, here's the
obligatory quote. Of course, it doesn't help you much, but that's because
you need to check out the interview yourself:
"The Godfather of Auto Racing Simulations", as Steve Smith calls him in the
GPL Strategy Guide. This was the first thing that popped into my mind as I
was following David behind the display booths, trying to find a quiet
situation where this interview could be conducted. It's easy to be
overwhelmed by the fact that you are about to interview someone that is so
highly regarded in the sim racing community. But at that time, my mind was
inundated with literally hundreds of questions that I could ask him. My
decision was to touch on as many topics as time would allow. Since the N4
project has a bit of development to go, I decided that any specific
questions about this upcoming sim (i.e. aerodynamic advantages of a
particular car) would have to wait until a later date; as Dave has already
agreed to do another interview when N4 nears it's completion."
Make sure to especially check out the last couple of pages, but of course
the complete interview is really worth reading as well. 9-pages chockful of
info.
