GP3 - Split axis ?

by rika » Tue, 08 Aug 2000 04:00:00

I was wondering how to get split axis pedals on a w2k machine with a MSFF to
work with gp3, for some reason the generic microsoft drivers seem to split
the axis where gpl is concerned, but calibration fails when trying with
gp3...

also whats the trick in getting the steering tighter, ive tried extremes of
most settings nothing seems to make the wheel rigid

if these have been answered recently sorry !
thanx

excellent game gp3, i dunno what some of you people are on about, its the
most fun ive had in an f1 sim/game for a long time, in 98 tho ... it has
issues but im sure everyone knows what they are by now :)

GP3 doesn't support split axis, except with a lot of messing around setting
up the pedals as a separate joystick I understand.

GP3 does support 4 axis....just make sure windows can see them all in the
game controllers - control panel...

It is a good thing IMHO, to set speed sensitivity to 0 % in controller
setup.
You'll get something close to GPL.

Warren.

And it is not an option with Wingman software, it seems.
