Has anyone had problems with the Saitek R4 FFB wheel's pedals not giving a
constant value i.e. when you hold at half revs the revs jump up and down ?.
(esp in GPL)

It never used to do it, but for some reason its decided to today !.

Any ideas ?

I have a Saitek R4 FF and had the same prob until I decided to fix it...

Dirty pots... spray some contact cleaner into them and "step on it" a few
times :-)

The R4 FF uses pots for the pedals, the steering axis is to my knowledge
opto-controlled...

Yeah, had the same problem. Write to Saitek (www.saitek.com), they
should replace the pedal unit without troubles.

Thanks for the help people, maybe I'll now be able to balance the car on the
throttle in GPL :)
