Just about a minute ago i saw one of the driver competing there this weekend
driving Road Atlanta in SCGT while he was waiting for his race to start!! Now
ive heard of other drivers in other series using Sims to hone their skills
(Dale Jr. in NASCAR to name one); but i looks as if SCGT has made its apperance
in the Pro Sprorts car ranks.

Yes I noticed that :). And they said that driver learned how to race cars
almost solely on the computer.

Well since the runoffs is at Mid Ohio, I really don't know how driving
Road Atlanta would be much help.

At one point in time, a real (sorta) F1 driver learned the layout of a track
he'd not been to before using a computer game. It was innocent and honest.
From here on out though, it's a marketing ploy. The TV stations think it
will attract a different audience and the game manufacturers probably don't
mind either. "-) Betcha.
