Nascar 2 Video card question????

by John William Flowers I » Fri, 16 Aug 1996 04:00:00

Dear Adam or Ed,
I'm interested in buying either the Voodoo 3dfx or Rendition Verite,
and from what I hear 3dfx is better.  Will Nascar 2 run with 3dfx?  One
other question is about the Thrustmaster/***net force feedback wheel
and if it is supported in Nascar 2?

Thanks!!!!!

Nascar 2 Video card question????

While we can only speculate since neither chipset is really in production yet,
the claims about the 3Dfx board sure impress me.  However, NCR2 was written
specifically to the Verite chip (barf!), so if you want 3D acceleration in
NCR2, you will be forced to buy a card from the only manufacturer that makes a
Verite board - Creative Labs (barf again).

I totally agree with you!!!<GGGG> Papyrus, why the Verite?? There's only going
to be "one" manufacturer for it, ala Creative Labs..Arghh!!!

Number Nine dropped out of it!!!

Voodoo will be the one..hehehe

take care
