If you use the univbe vesa driver that comes with the game you should
run uvconfig after switching video cards to update the driver config
file.  Then you should be able to run the game again.

If you have a Reactor card and run uvconfig, it will not recognize it. At
least not on my computer. I saved all my cars in another directory and
reinstalled.
