Don
I saw that wreck that you were involved in and it was a miracle that you
didn't drop a valve or blow up when you hit him. I never fair that lucky.
AND, to make matters worse, your car just simply was so consistent even
after the wreck. Great driving. I hope to have your luck next week at the
wreckfest short-track.

RASCAR: Lowes Night Race

Yes, that was REALLY weird!

Grub caught the turn 4 wall and bounced out, and I slammed on the brakes.
It was close, but I got stopped in time and never touched him.

BUT, the damned game gave me front-end damage and I was in hurtsville from
that point on.  I was ok on new tires, but after 10 laps the handle was
gone.  After a while I too was re-arranging my RF on the turn-4 wall :(

I also noticed a bit of that same, odd "Let's***with Larry and shove the
front end out from underneath him" stuff that I witnessed at Kansas City.
Not as bad, but it still happened.  I still don't know what this is all
about.  It is NOT speed dependent.  It is NOT corner entry dependent.  It
just happens out of no where every now and then, and it's almost impossible
to save the car from the wall when it does happen.  It's like you blow a
tire, except the next lap everything is fine again.  I had never noticed
this until the patch came out.

I'm not quite so sure how I got 2 laps down.  1 I understand, but not 2.  I
must of had to pit one time more than the others due to my air-ball damage.

It was a nice race though.  This was the first race I've ever had here where
I was comfortable passing people in the square-oval.  Everyone held their
lines nicely, and there were no problems.  This place is usually a nightmare
for me.

in our situation ?

I don't remember that.  Maybe that's where my damage came from?  Did you hit
the front or the rear ?

Its posted on the forum but in short install TS run connect/quick connect
type in your Sierrra ID in username and use the IP/port 65.39.161.10:10067
and PW is rascar.  Be aware you need to run NR2003 and adjust volumes so you
can hear TS over the roar of the motor.

The key thing for me was to turn off into and exit sequences. When I
had them on N2003 would crash on startup (just after the mountain
scene intro) when the TeamSpeak client was active.

I also have a headset on order so I am looking forward to tryingt it
out next Saturday 8-)

It's real fun being able to talk to you fellow RASCAR racers.

Cheers,

uwe
