Being new to the Nascar racing sim<just got it for the playstation> I
must say this game is incredible...it's huge...ton's o' tracks to race
and season mode at 100%...it's challenging...setups, tweaking setups,
learning the right line around the track, shift timing, pit
timing...it's intense....squeezing between two cars on a banked turn
doing 150....it's got major repalyability...see huge comments...it's
the perfect fix after watching a race! My fave tracks so
far....Atlanta for some high speed racin and bristol for some crowded
racing where it's you against the other drivers instead of you against
the track. On bristol you pend alot of time in crowds because there's
no room on the track to really spread out. Bristol at night looks
slick as hell...the graphcis seem to just jump up a couple of notches.
Those of you using sim instead of arcade: don't neglect
arcade....great for practicing. 1> you can use it to get a hang of the
right driving line. I was always over comepensting after a turn to
avoid the wall, now, I got it just right. 2> also great for working on
your crowd racing. playing bristol in arcade mode allows you to
concentrate more on the other drivers than the track. I greatly
improved my passing, tailing, drafting and three wide driving
techniques. 3> it's great for blowing off steam. Just can't get that
setup to work? Tired of tweaking and tweaking and still not getting
the right speed/feel? Switch over to a quick arcade race blast around
the track leaving your opponents in the dust and then go back to yuor
setups feeling refreshed and ready to tweak away.

Can't wait to start a season...I'm still in the setup stages!

Just my two<or three or four>cents
