GPL Gamma Settings with Glide 2.53 patch--adjustment?

The Glide 2.53 patch available at the Fast Lane certainly seems to fix all
of my graphical glitches...but the gamma settings for my card are, of
course, not picked-up by GPL since it is using the patch DLL in the GPL
directory.  Is there a way to manually set the gamma when you are using the
patch?

same problem here...one solution that found out is to create a Batch
file (start.bat for example) with the following lines:

SET SSTV2_BGAMMA=1.0
SET SSTV2_GGAMMA=1.0
SET SSTV2_RGAMMA=1.0
gpl.exe

...but this dosnt work with VROC when you launch GPL from the Browser.
