Right, after hitting refresh 7 times I did finally get to see the correct
news page with the download button on it. Thanks.

This is a known problem with my provider's proxy which I've just sent them
another "polite" mail about. ;-)

Not tried it myself yet, busy christmassing with the family ;)

Otherwise just ask "MadThrasher" that specific question in a new thread, he
is the man behind the mod, so he ought to know.

Just a heads up, incase you didn't know about it, SHIFT-F5 in IE forces a
clean refresh; no cache access. Don't know if that would help you or not.

I'm aware of that, but it's not my local cache that causes the problem. I
think my providers proxy doesn't properly recognise some pages having been
updated and, if it's got the page cached, just shoves the outdated cashed
version back to the customer instead of actually getting a refreshed copy
from the remote site. If one's persistent enough one sometimes gets a
result, sometimes one doesn't. It regularly happens with sites like BHMS and
ucomics.com and it's <bleep>ing driving me over the edge.

BTW.: the provider's techs claim it's not a problem seeing as it seems to
sort itself out eventually. I.e. it doesn't *stay* stuck on an outdated
page. Now I believe as much in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", but if I
ever meet one of those guys in person I shall not be responsible for my
actions.

in step 1 of the installation i deleted everything in Vehicles folder which
made it do the same thing here
i re did step 1 bt only deleting the directories(folders) and keeping all
the rest.
and the last step  (step 10 ) i ahd to manually delete the other file in the
game.gdb(it said it would overite but it didnt)
then mine worked

you don't.  just make copies of the F12002-directories you extract
stuff to and hack up a new .ini-file.
