First off, thanks very much for the prompt reply Eric, that counts for
quite a bit in my book.
That said, "Race other people on www.zone.com"?!?!? I think I could
have come up with that one myself. Point is I tested Nascar Online
for about a year or so and find racing with random folks can
occasionally be a tad irritating. Also would be nice to use an online
service that doesn't force me to use a particular web browser... ahem.
Sorry, didn't intend to turn this into a rant and I do appreciate the
suggestion about Miami, I was quite looking forward to racing that
track anyway. The main problem is that I enjoy racing 100% length
race seasons and it's a tad difficult to find a full field of people
who are willing to do that exactly when I want and perhaps race for 5
or 6 straight hours, so I was naturally looking forward to taking on
the computer.
As long as a fix will be reasonably quick in coming, I guess that'll
be fine, otherwise it's back to Indycar II. Will you post in RAS when
any progress has been made?
Again, sorry for my tone, but I'm a tad frustrated/disappointed by
this. I've been waiting for this title for quite some time and to see
it scuttled by something as obvious as this is unfortunate. Oh well,
I guess I can always put on a ton of wing and slow my car down :(
