I've got a P2-333 (usually overclocked to 412), 64 MB, and a G200
(plus a Voodoo 1).
GP2: Fine. You'll have to turn a couple of things off.
F1RS: Fine. The D3D patch works well on the G200.
GPL: The Matrox patch is beta. Good frame rates (36 fps most
of the time at 800x600) but too many visual artifacts. If
they fix the artifacts, the G200 will be a good GPL card.
If they don't, you'll want to switch to a Rendition card or
add a Voodoo.

lousy OS: $ 80 (Good OS that can't run these sims: Free)
decent sound card: $ 35
(Monitors, modems, speakers, and steering wheels vary wildly.)
