Can someone give me a lesson on what UniVBE is?
I know is a TSR, but what does it do? I haven't had any
problems playing Nascar1 on my P100, 2MB ATI Graphics Expressions.
( 16MB Ram Win95, etc..) Will UniVBE give me better framerates?

Going to wait on buying a Reactor 3D , till I hear some feedback
from people who already own one with NAscar2.

thanks,

It's a VESA Video BIOS Extension v2.0 driver for many popular video cards
on the market. Most video cards come with a driver or a VESA already built
into BIOS, but they only implement VESA VBE v1.0 functionality. UniVBE is
so far the only one that implements the latest specification for VBE.

Possibly. That is if and only if NASCAR1 is aware of VBE 2.0 extra
features. If it isn't, then UniVBE will act just like any other VBE 1.0
driver, but the game will get no benefit out of the extra features of VBE
2.0.
