This is a possibility, but do american megastores sell rFactor in boxes
then? Here we have to buy both of them (LFS and rF) online.

Not that I have seen, rF is online only.

GTR and GTL have been Box only,  as it RD3.  Those seem to be the most
current sims over here.(am I forgetting any?)

FWIW, gogamer.com sells rF in a DVD case.

That is interesting.   Are they burning their own copies?  Heck,  that
sounds like a new cottage industry.

Well, we are IMNSHO at the end of a technological cycle in terms of
racing sims, one which began around 2003 or so (NR2003 and F1C
plus some others).  I'm currently waiting for the next cycle to begin,
with stuff which will hopefully blow our collective socks off (even if
it is made by <ahem> iRacing).

That's exactly what RACER is. http://raceralex.com/  I see Uwe has just
joined.  I've posted the link already in his thread, and have posted it here
at ras a few other times in the recent past. :-)

If you'd like, I can have the administrator contact you. E-mail address
above accurate?

Yes.  It's accurate.

I thought that maybe my submission was never completed, so I tried to
re-apply, but it says my email address is already on file.

So, with this club, or whatever it is, are the servers PW'd?  Are there
often people online in the evening?

Thanks,
Pat Dotson

Ok, I'll message the admin and I'm sure he'll quickly sort things out.

They usually have a few passworded servers running almost 24/7. Mod/tracks
are switched up by the admin, or we can change them to what we want. They
have extremely competitive monthly event races (about 50 drivers/many
familiar names), with heats and a main spread out over the weekend as well
as "second chance" type races for those that don't qualify for the main
during the heat races. Sponsors with prizes to the top finishers. There are
also weekly races on Tuesday and Friday nights which are much more casual
than the event races.  Tracks and mods are available for download from the
site. Once you are signed up, just check the forum and you'll find all the
info.

HK.com (Hudson Kerr) was the sponsor of this past weekend's event, and you
can read a recap of the weekend here:

ISI posted a PR announcing it in March.
